Nice Revere Telechron R-935 Westminster chiming electric mantle clock ca 1948. It makes a great statement piece in your home. Original Finish with slight wear as seen in photos. An attractive clock in any room. Wonderful sounding chime (added in the video).
The silver finished oval dial is 4 1/2 inches in diameter. Its height is 8 inches by 20 inches wide and 6 inches deep.
Condition is good to very good. Clock runs quietly, functions well and keeps good time. I've lightly oiled the internal parts. The case shows some aging (along the lower front edges as seen in photos) along with some scuffs and nicks for a nearly 80 year old clock.
HISTORY: Walter Herschede (Herschede Grandfather clocks) and Henry Warren (Telechron clocks) worked together in 1925 to produce an electric clock with chimes, resulting in a new line of clocks, called Revere Telechron, in 1926. These clocks were manufactured by Herschede using Telechron movements.
Shipping is free and will come in a well padded box.
IMPORTANT: Due to the age of the clock and movement inside, I can't offer a warranty. Obviously, parts are difficult to find and any repair will require a specialist with antique clocks.
