Unusual Bible with a fairly rare publisher in USA since it's published in England. This large book is a National Family Bible Edition with Old and New Testaments plus commentaries of Scott and Henry. Quarto Size Book with Leather Cover and Gilding plus one clasp.

This his Bible contains the authorized and revised versions of the Old and New Testaments. Does contain the The Books of the Bible, Biographical and Historical information along with nice pictures throughout in Black and White with a few color pages. Commentaries of Scott and Henry. Edited by Rev. John Eadie, D.D. LL.D. United Presbyterian Church.

Thick, sculptured, full leather covers with richly detailed, with gilt biblical scenes on the beveled boards; worn gilt edges all around. Embossed. One clasp is missing.

This Bible contains Old and New Testaments with no presentation page. But it contains unused Marriage and Family History pages. Also, there is an interesting embedded photo holder on the back cover (unusual feature I've never seen before).

Size (roughly): 13"x 10"x 3.5".

Condition: Very Good condition with minimal rework. Inside paper is suitable for reading, minimal darkening of the paper. As shown in example pictures that pages are in good shape. Contains the original end papers on front and back. As mentioned earlier, there is some wearing on covers but they are cleaned and conditioned the covers.

All work is done using archival quality neutral ph adhesives, cotton or archival tape. Leather additions are 100% leather and resourced from worn out old coats.
