Vintage Large Rare 1930's Lauffer German Mantel Working Mantle Clock. Art Deco Style with 8 day Movement and Hourly Chimes (not Westminster)

Vintage Rare 1930's Karl Lauffer German Mantel hump back Mantle Clock. Kind of an Art Deco feel to the style. Manual winding with key (8 day). It is manufactured in Germany. This clock is large at roughly 21" wide X 10" deep and 6.5" tall.

WORKING CONDITION!!!

This clock chimes and rings properly. Chimes every 15 mins and hourly with a loud nice sound. A review of the Internet did not give me any solid information on the company. The numbers on the movement are W6-DBGM as you can see in the picture.

This clock is in great shape and functions properly. However, there is some signs of usage. The brass ring has some tarnish on it and there is some small minor scratches. As you can see from the pictures, the finish is still good but the feet could do with a refinish.

It appears to keep correct time and it chimed and rang on time. It could use an expert to look over the movement to ensure it is correctly maintained since it's well over 80 years old.
