Awsome Rare Antique 1940 Hamilton Russel Model Watch 17 Jewel USA Movement with Great Stylish Art Deco Design Working (Smaller Men's Size)

Hard to find 1940 Hamilton Russell Model watch - Featured here is an Art-Deco inspired vintage Hamilton in a 10KT gold-filled case with a 18K applied gold roman numerals on a silver tone dial. The case is in superb shape with only minor blemishes visible. This wristwatch measures approximately 27mm wide x 33mm in overall length and is powered by a genuine Hamilton 14/0 sized, 17 jewel 987a movement (manual hand wind) that runs strong and kept good time over a 24 hour period.

Wear it with the confidence that you are as distinctive as the watch. The used leather strap seems age appropriate but I cannot state its original. However, the overall look gives it a fashion look from the era and makes a great statement.

Perfect for those who value traditional value and quality. It's an interesting collector item and it makes a great gift. As you see from the pictures, gold tone case is in good condition with small wear marks but nothing pushing into the next layer. The crown is original and matches the case. Inscribed on the back case with initials.

WEAR: As you can see from the dial, there is some patina on the silver finish. Also, there is wear on the moveable lugs attached to the case (hard to see in photos). Remember, this watch is 85 years old so treat it as an antique when wearing.

MOVEMENT: The watch contains a working movement that keeps time within a minute each day. However, there is no history of service on this used watch. I cannot provide a warranty. While this is a working watch, I recommend you have service completed by your service provider.
