A VERY LARGE - The Holy Bible, The Holman Self-Pronouncing Edition columns. Contains the Authorized and Revised Version of Old And New Testaments, The Authorized and Revised Versions Translated out of the Original Tongues. Age ca 1910 based upon the split leather and interior changes from earlier Holman bibles.

Makes a great display piece or decor item for home or office.

Thick, sculptured, split leather covers with embossed lettering, heavily beveled boards; No gilt. No illustrations. The columns of the bible indicate revisions from the 1611 version to the 1881 edition.

I found no marriage/deaths/births pages. Also, no Photo holders. The pages are suitable for reading with only minor problems with the old paper around the gilt edges. The pages are not brittle.

Contains Old and New Testaments along with other works like History of the Old and New Testaments. Also, the book contains a self pronouncing dictionary.

Size = approx. 13"x 11" x 3

Condition: Very Good condition. Some leather has worn around the edges and slight fraying. This item was properly stored in the past. Leather is in pretty good shape despite lack of oil conditioning over the years (common with such bibles). Contains the original head and foot bands.

Work Completed: Minor reattachment of internal pages and front cover to spine. All work is done using archival quality neutral ph adhesives, paper and/or cotton along with archival tape.
