This is a beautiful hard to find Sessions antique mantle clock. It has the beautiful adornments on the front of the clock as well as nice side handles and beautiful feet. You get 19th century style with a modern updated look with the red accents. The video shows the two types of tones on the hour and half hour.
Made by the Sessions Clock Co., Forestville, CT. The ebonized wood case, mounted half columns, scroll feet are original along with the good looking dial and hands. It comes with a winding key and original pendulum. The accuracy remains very good for such an old clock. I've let run for several days and was within 1 minute after 24 hours. However, you may need to adjust it since shipping can throw off timing slightly.
The clock has light wear to the exterior but in overall good condition. There is a new back board I put on to tone down the sound and keep out dust. Please see all the photos for what you're getting. The winding key that ships is a universal for many clocks.
You adjust the pendulum timing from the front. The needed second key is a 2.0mm = 00 Key which DOES NOT come with the clock. Measures approximately 18 in wide from side handle tip to side handle tip by 12 in tall by 5 in deep.
Shipping is free (service picked by us) and will come in a well padded box. The clock is in working condition when it is boxed. Due to the age of the clock and movement inside, I can't offer a warranty. Any work to fix such antiques will require a specialist.
