Experience the timeless elegance of this antique Seth Thomas Arch Top Mantel Clock, from Thomaston, Connecticut, circa 1880, with a mahogany veneer case that looks original. Original painted dial with retouched spots, full label on the inside backboard, 8-day brass movement. It runs with an accuracy within 2 minutes after 7 days of use. The strike works.

15 1/2 x 11 x 4 1/2 inches.

The clock has light wear to the exterior and no missing veneer. Overall the wood is in very good condition. The glass and wood looks original to the time period but I can't guarantee that. Screws match the period as well. The pendulum appears original to the time as well.

As seen in the pictures, the label retains most of the information and is useful to help validate the date of manufacture. Please see all the photos for what you're getting. The winding key is not original but works.

You adjust the pendulum timing from the screw bottom on the pendulum.

Shipping is free (service picked by us) and will come in a well padded box.

NOTE: The clock is in working condition over a period of a week for testing. Unless otherwise noted, the clock keeps time within a couple of minutes during testing. When the clock is boxed, it is in working order.

IMPORTANT: While each critical item is removed and packaged separately, shipping CAN AFFECT the movement/pendulum/suspension spring and leader. You will need to put the pieces back on to the movement to work correctly. You can look at YouTube videos for further knowledge or contact a local clock shop.

NOTE: The mechanical movement/pendulum require a LEVEL surface (side to side and front to back) to work properly. I don't accept returns for the customer's inability to adjust and manage the clock. Due to the age of the clock and movement inside, I can't offer a warranty. Any work to fix/maintain antique clocks will require a specialist.
