Rare Gold Swiss Charles Nicolet Chronograph Men's Watch 1950s 17 Jewel Landeron 51 Movement

This is a hard to find 1950s Gold Swiss chronograph from Charles Nicolet, based in Tramelan, Switzerland. Perfect as a dress watch, this luxury men's watch is about 35mm. The watch carries a fine 17 jewel manual wind movement and all functions work. It appears to be a Landeron 51 Movement inside but I'm not an expert. Please review pictures to verify.

The case is marked gold plate (see pic). Dial is marked MP and shows good colors (blue and red) along with a bit of patina as you can see from the photos. I have to assume its all original given patina and wear.

Overall, the watch runs just fine and the buttons work. However, it's not been serviced and I have no history as to any maintenance completed in the past.

Case is approx. 36mm by 40mm but looks larger than expected which means it's a nice fit without overpowering the wrist.

Wear it with the confidence that you are as distinctive as the watch. With a barely used leather strap, the color dial gives it a fashion look which makes a great statement.

Perfect for those who value traditional value and quality. It's a collector's dream and it makes a great gift. As you see from the pictures, there is some wear on the case and crystal but still shows nicely. A gold plated steel case with an unmarked crown.

Movement Condition: Working movement that requires manual winding. It keeps time within a minute each day. I haven't cleaned the movement or adjusted it to improve on the time. While this item is working I recommend you have your local watch dealer service the movement since I have no service records on this older watch.
