Working 1950s Charles Nicolet Tramelan Chronograph Men's Watch Landeron Calibre 39 Movement

This interesting 1950s Charles Nicolet Tramelan Chronograph Wheel Columns Chronograph Watch. 36mm case (not counting the crown), with a snap case back. The cream/golden tone color dial gives it a fashion look which makes a great statement. The dial is certainly original from the time. According to my research, the movement is a Landeron Calibre 39, 17-jewel Swiss made, with a column wheel. It is mechanical with manual winding functions.
The watch is in the same condition as in the photo. The reset-to-zero function on the stop-watch works just fine.

This watch carries a classic two-register chronograph dial with a 30-minute sub-dial at 3 o'clock and a constant seconds sub-dial at 9 o'clock. Perfect as a dress or casual watch, this luxury men's watch is about 35mm across so you can consider it unisex in size. All functions work. Dial shows a bit of patina (dial edges, case and buttons) as you can see from the photos.

Case is approx. 36mm by 40mm which means it's a nice fit without overpowering the wrist.

As you see from the pictures, there is some wear on the case and crystal but still shows nicely. A stainless steel case with the original crown.

Movement Condition: Working movement that keeps time within a minute each day. I haven't cleaned the movement or adjusted it to improve on the time. While this item is working I recommend you have your local watch dealer service the movement since I have no service records on this older watch.
